In the 13th century, the Mongols ruled China and Central Asia. They were planning to expand their rule in nearby countries. For this purpose, they were conducting military operations in different countries. The weaker nations of the neighboring countries were greatly afraid of their military power, and terror.

But one of the rulers of these countries, a Muslim ruler, was fighting against the Mongols very bravely. He was trying to unite the neighboring countries to defeat the Mongols. The name of this brave ruler was Sultan Jalaluddin.

Sultan Jalaluddin put up a strong resistance against the Mongols with his best war strategy and defeated them. He won many wars against the Mongols. He proved himself as the last rock against the Mongols.

In 1221, Sultan Jalaluddin tried to unite the Muslim rulers to fight the Mongols. On not getting a positive response from them, he decided to face them alone. He defeated the Mongols in a great battle with the help of some local chieftains.

But the non-implementation of Sultan Jalal-ud-Din’s suggestion of unification by the Muslim rulers had dire consequences. The Mongols attacked the Muslim superpower kingdom of Baghdad and defeated the Islamic forces and captured Baghdad. This defeat was a big blow to the Muslim rulers.

In this book, the story of Tahir bin Yusuf, an Arab Muslim revolutionary youth is also told. Tahir bin Yusuf was an ardent revolutionary and determined young man from the Arab world. He left his home to fight for the defense of the Islamic Empire and made his home on the banks of the Tigris River in the city of Baghdad.

He informed the Muslim Mujahedeen about Genghis Khan’s war ambitions and instructed them to make full preparations for war. Unfortunately, the public did not heed his warning at all. Finally, Genghis Khan started a military operation in various cities of the Islamic Empire and started massacring the citizens.

Naseem Hijazi is a prominent novelist of Urdu literature. He was born in 1914 in the city of Gurdaspur in the Punjab province of India. He got his primary education from various educational institutions in his city, Gurdaspur.

After the establishment of Pakistan, his family migrated and settled in Lahore, Pakistan. He decided to write historical novels for novel writing. He has written many historical novels for Urdu literature. Among them are Muhammad bin Qasim, Yusuf bin Tashfeen, and Talwar Toot Gai.
