Summary of the Novel:
Zainab is the main character of this novel. She is a very beautiful girl and she is in love with her cousin Shiraz. Both of them are engaged. Shiraz also likes Zainab very much and treats her with love. Some relatives spread false propaganda against Zainab to make Shiraz hate Zainab. Coming to people’s talk, Shiraz also thinks that his fiancee Zainab’s behavior is not right. She has illicit relations with non-men.
Man o Salwa Novel Part 2:
He then decides to break off his engagement. He consults his office colleagues about whether he should end the engagement or not. His office colleagues advise him to end this engagement and marry a good and educated girl from a respectable family. Shiraz ends his engagement with Zainab. One day, Shiraz realized that an officer in his office wanted to marry his daughter to Shiraz.
He also tells his parents that Zainab is not a girl of good character, so he does not want to marry her. Her parents also become silent on her decision. In the meantime, the officer of Shiraz’s office comes to his house with his daughter’s relation. Shiraz’s parents are also very happy to know about this relationship.
Thus Shiraz gets engaged to Sheeta. Hearing this news, Zainab becomes very sad. Shiraz behaves very hatefully towards Zainab and keeps spreading false propaganda against her. He is always thinking of defaming her. The story of this Urdu novel is a collection of feelings of love, hate, and revenge.

At the end of the story, Zainab takes full revenge for Shiraz’s atrocities and excesses. She joins the acting industry and earns a lot of money and lives a life of luxury. She says that now her only aim in life is to take revenge on Shiraz.

About the Author of the book:
Umera Ahmed is Pakistan’s leading Urdu novel Writer. Umera Ahmed was born on December 10 in Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. She got her early education in Gujranwala. She later obtained his MA in English from Murray College, Sialkot.
Umera Ahmed is a school teacher. She has been teaching middle and secondary students at Army Public School Sialkot. But since she wanted to make a career as a writer. So she quit his job as a school teacher and started writing regularly as a novelist and screenwriter. She mostly wrote for urdu Digests.
Unfortunately, Umera Ahmed suffered a lot in the early stages of her life. Umera Ahmed had no brother. He had two more sisters in his family. His father decided to remarry as he did not have a son. He left behind Umera’s mother and her two other sisters. Umera Ahmed mentioned this bitter period of her life in her first novel, Zindagi Gulzar Hai. She says that the character of the Kashaf lady in this Urdu novel is herself.
Umera Ahmed started writing at an early age. In the beginning, her writings were published in Urdu Digest. Later she started writing books regularly for publishers. She has written more than thirty Urdu romantic novels in total. Most of them are romance novels.
