About the Author:
Imam Muhammad bin Ismail Bukhari was born in the year 810 AD in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. He is a famous Persian-born Islamic scholar. Imam Muhammad ibn Ismail Bukhari’s father was a famous scholar and teacher of Hadith. The father of Imam Bukhari was the student of Hazrat Malik bin Anas a well-known scholar of Hadith. Imam Bukhari received his early education at home.
He was so intelligent in his childhood that he had memorized the collection of Hadith compiled by Hazrat Abdullah bin Mubarak. His father passed away in his childhood. He took his mother and brother with him to study Islamic sciences He traveled to famous Islamic countries for the study of Hadith, and Islamic jurisprudence. He studied in many Islamic schools and Learned Hadith, Tafsir, and Fiqah from famous teachers.

At the age of sixteen, he performed Hajj with his mother and brother. During the Hajj, he met with senior and well-known scholars from Makkah and Madinah and exchanged views on Islamic studies. And he started teaching Islamic sciences to the students.
