About the Author:

Allama Shibli Nomani was born on June 3, 1857, in the Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Shibli Nomani is an Indian scholar and one of the senior scholars. He was the founder of Shibli National College and Writers House Azam Garh. Because of his scholarly services, people of all Muslim schools of thought read his Urdu pdf books and have faith in him.

Allama Shibli was a unique religious scholar who was fluent in Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, and Persian. Shibli Nomani considered it very important to acquire Islamic studies. From an early age, he had intended to study Islamic studies. His brothers were interested in studying law. They went to England to study law and came back as a barrister.

But Shibli’s thinking was different from his. His mental inclination was towards Islamic sciences. He went to them to acquire Islamic knowledge. After reading the early pdf Urdu books of Islamic sciences, Shibli went to Mecca for Hajj and obtained Islamic knowledge from various scholars there.

Sufism, Hadith, Tafseer of Qur’an, etc. When he returned to India after Hajj, he met Sir Syed Ahmed Khan who had established a Muslim University in Aligarh city. Sir Syed Ahmed Khan appointed him as a lecturer at the university. Sir Syed Ahmad Khan sent the job offer which he accepted.

He was appointed as a teacher of Arabic and Persian languages. He worked as a teacher at Muslim University Aligarh for 16 years. While working in Aligarh, he also had the opportunity to work with English teachers and tour the Middle East and Europe. After the death of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Shibli left his job at Aligarh University and joined a job in the Education Department of Hyderabad State.

He introduced very high educational reforms in the education system of the state. On the proposal, the government made the curriculum of higher education in Osmania University Urdu Medium. In 1908, he left his job here and got a job in Nadwat-ul-Ulema.

He worked here for five years and introduced valuable reforms in the institute which greatly increased the reputation of this Islamic institute. In 1913, he left his job and moved to his hometown Azam Garh. Where he decided to set up a writer’s house. His able student Allama Suleiman was also with him.
